Call To Apply >> 8th Leadership Course on Gender, Sexuality, and Health in Southeast Asia and China — (closing 15 july 2009)

The Consortium is calling for applications for the 8th Leadership Course. This 19-day course aims to provide the participants with context-specific and gender-sensitive knowledge on sexuality and health in Southeast Asia and China. Special attention will be devoted to exploring how gender and sexuality conceptual frameworks and methodological approaches can be applied to enhance health outcomes in the region. This regional training course is organized annually, with the host institution rotating among the members of the Consortium. This year the Center for Health Policy Studies, Mahidol University, Thailand will host the training course.

Fees
US$ 3,900 covers tuition, accommodation and meals, course materials, field trips, living expenses and certificate of completion.
*Fee excludes local travel expenses, visas, and insurance.

Scholarships
A limited number of partial and full scholarships are provided by the Consortium. Applicants are strongly encouraged to seek funding from other sources.

Participants’ Eligibility

• Nationals of Southeast Asian countries and China
• Good command of English
• Any professionals with experience in the field of sexual and reproductive health
